KAT SAVOCA & KEN FITTS NO TAP DOUBLES TOURNAMENT SATURDAY, AUGUST 13, 2
Pike Lanes is hosting a fundraiser, on National Bowling Day, in honor of two individuals that recently passed away. Kat Savoca, was not only a talented bowler, but also the bowling coach for Council Rock South High School ! Ken Fitts , who was an avid bowler, and also a league secretary, treasure and president of several leagues here and at other centers .
$4200.00 was raised!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
The tournament format is as follows:
o Everyone stays on the same pair and bowls 3 games.
o NO TAP where a 9-count on the first ball scores as a strike
o Team consists of two bowlers (youth, adult, mixed…whatever)
o All bowlers must have an established average. Bowlers can use their “USBC book” average, of at least 21 games, based on most recent season, or any average in which they can provide a standing sheet.
o If the bowler has no verifiable average, then 160 will be used.
o Entry close date is Saturday, August 13 at 11am & 3pm; unless 24 team entries exist prior to each squad.
o In determining a winner for each game using the doubles format with a 80% handicap based on combined average of 450.
o Entry fee is $20.00 per bowler = $40.00 per team.
All Monies go to the appointed charities, Family Services Association of Bucks County (suicide prevention) and the National Prostate Cancer Foundation.
First Place Winners will receive their choice of a bowling ball!

The cost to enter is $40.00 ($20.00 per person) ($0.00 lineage, all monies goes directly to the two charities chosen by their families.
